Who can become a Payments Expert?
Anyone with genuine, hands-on payments experience in product, strategy, compliance, operations, or technology can apply.
How do I get verified as an expert?
Our team reviews your profile and expertise before listing you as a verified expert.
What is a payment nugget?
A payment nugget is a bite-sized insight shared from your payments experience. It enhances your biography and can earn up to 10 non-expiring credits.
Do I set my own rates and availability?
Yes. You control your availability, hourly or per-call rates, and expertise areas. We recommend a minimum of USD 100 per hour.
Do I need to be available full-time?
No. You consult as much or as little as fits your schedule.
Will my calls be transcribed?
By default, calls will be transcribed. Please share only non-confidential information with the Knowledge Seeker.
How long does approval take?
Our team reviews every profile within 24–48 hours. You will see a confirmation after you sign up and can log back in once you are approved.
Why might a payment nugget be rejected?
Every nugget is reviewed by our team. It can be rejected if it describes your own experience instead of sharing a unique insight, or if it is not relevant to payments or fintech. You will see the reason and can publish a new one.
How do I get paid?
You earn the hourly rate you set whenever a call with a Knowledge Seeker takes place. Approved nuggets also earn 1 to 10 credits, which never expire.
Can I stay anonymous?
Yes. You choose an alias when you sign up. It is permanent, and your identity is not shown to Knowledge Seekers.
